Named for its high and large rear end. At the end of 2004, Moto Honda da Amaz\u00f4nia began manufacturing and selling this model in Brazil. The version sold in Brazilian territory until April 2008 was the second generation model, while in Europe there was already the 4th generation, with a new engine. This is the current version manufactured and marketed in Brazil. Contrary to what many people think, the CB 600F Hornet is not the successor to the CB 500. Despite having similar displacements, they are completely different motorcycles. CB 600F inherited the engine from the CBR 600F \/ CBR600RR, which means it has an in-line 4-cylinder engine with 96\/102 horsepower. The CB 500 has a two-cylinder engine that develops 54 hp. This means that the Vespa has almost twice the power of the CB 500, which in turn is a development of the CDB 400 and 450.<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0The name \u201cF\u201d in its name suggests it has a 4-cylinder engine (F = four). It has a high torque and maximum speed of around 220 km\/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km\/h in place in 4.5 seconds. The Hornet is equipped with a double floating front disc and a single rear disc, both derived from the CBR 600 F \/ CBR 600 RR. Its national competitors are the Suzuki Bandit 650 and Yamaha XJ6. Suzuki is more classic, has simpler mechanics compared to the Hornet; Making the 600, on the other hand, has almost the same power and torque figures as the Hornet with 98 hp and 6.44 kgfm respectively. To be manufactured in Brazil, the Hornet has around 700 Honda service points in the country.<\/span><\/h3>\n
